Promoting Learning Through Recreational Camp Activities

Our extensive and fun activities are designed for campers to challenge themselves, to engage in group interactions, and to stimulate their curiosity.

Our day campers enjoy the gyms each day and they rotate during the week to each of our 5 gyms: Beam, Bars, Vault, Olympic, and Dance Gyms. They enjoy the opportunity to be on the equipment and to try recreational gymnastics. Our safety certified Day Camp Staff are trained by our gymnastics coaches on safe and fun activities that all campers can enjoy.

Scary Aerie

One of our most popular recreation activities at camp is Scary Aerie. At Scary Aerie campers work their way through our brand new ultimate high ropes course and zipline across the lake. Campers need to be at least 7 years old to try Scary Aerie.

Our specially designed swim program allows our campers to individually progress from Starfish (Shallow water with flotation), to Seahorse (Shallow water without flotation and deep water with flotation), to Dolphin (Swim freely anywhere). Sessions are divided by age group and are always supervised by a minimum of two Red Cross Certified lifeguards.

Water Activities

From kayaking on the lake to zooming down the waterslide (Water balloons may make an appearance), there is something for everyone during
Water Activities. Our Kinder Campers can even enjoy splashing around on our colorful bumper boats.

Campers of all ages enjoy energetic and various sports here at International Day Camp including: Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Pickleball, Field Hockey, T-Ball, 9-Square, Spaceball, Bench Ball, Volleyball, Newcombe, and of course, Gaga Ball.

Arts & Crafts and Games

Imagination, coordination, creativity, relaxation - experience it all with: Foosball, Ping Pong, Giant Board Games, Sandcastle Building, Arts and Crafts, Inflatables, Mini Golf, and Story Time.

Nurtured By Nature

From eggs, to tadpoles, to frogs, nature walks, wildlife, flora and fauna, Day Campers are immersed in it all at International Day Camp's 20 acre forest in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

The Kinder Camp Train

All aboard Kinder and Junior campers! Let’s take a ride on our very own Day Camp Train for an adventure through camp! The conductor will collect your complimentary tickets.

Camper Cheers and Dance

Friday mornings we celebrate the theme of the week with our camper cheers and camper dance before the appreciative International Gymnastics Camp counselors and staff. The dance is choreographed and taught by our talented Day Camp counselors for each age group, and the cheers are an opportunity for the campers to use their imaginations and vocal abilities!

Day Camp Dining

Our day campers enjoy a wide range of nutritious self-serve choices in our extraordinary full-service cafeteria each day. International Day Camp makes accommodations for common food allergies and dietary requirements. We also provide a wholesome afternoon snack each day.
